Any idea on inputs or resolution? That would be my only concern. I am guessing vga or dvi which means it may not be super useful.

Dvi is a God send pretty much anything can be converted to dvi with just a cable.

14" is really small for a monitor, but $15 for essentially any LCD monitor that works is totally worth it.

15 bucks for a working 19 inch wide screen yes.
I have about 50 of these in my network, and not one died on me yet. many LGs, viewsonics, and samsungs have been replaced.
